Professor and Graduate in Sociology from the National University of San Juan, graduated with Gold Medal and Diploma of Honor of the Class of 2002/2003, Dr. Leopoldo Allub Distinction for the Best Average in the Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and second Escort of the Faculty of Social Sciences. She obtained her PhD degree in Social Sciences, with a mention in Sociology, from the National University of Cuyo in 2012, under the direction of Fernanda Beigel and the funding of a CONICET scholarship. Her doctoral research was published in a book entitled “La investigación científica argentina en dictadura. Transferencias y desplazamientos de recursos (1974-1986)” (In english: “Argentine scientific research under dictatorship. Transfers and displacements of resources (1974-1986)”). She then developed a postdoctoral fellowship from CONICET and joined the organization as a researcher in 2014. She has participated in numerous research projects and has directed human resources linked to her lines of study. She has published scientific articles and book chapters in several national and international publishers.
Currently, she is an Associate Researcher at CONICET working at the Institutes of Social, Human and Environmental Sciences (INCIHUSA) based in the CCT Mendoza. She is an effective JTP teacher in the chair of Contemporary Sociological Theory of Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the National University of Cuyo. She is co-director of the Center for the Study of the Circulation of Scientific Knowledge (CECIC) at the National University of Cuyo. She is a member of the Memory Commission of CONICET since its foundation in 2019. Her research topics have been oriented to the study of the historical-structural characteristics of the Argentine university scientific field, from the last military dictatorship to the present, the systems of scientific evaluation, evaluative cultures, the research function and the styles of production and circulation of knowledge produced in national universities.
